    Senior Pastor

    Jon joined the staff in 2004 after earning his Bachelor of Science from the University of Mobile. While serving at Skyland Baptist Church he earned his M.Div at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2008.

  • ALEX COWAN

    Associate Pastor

    Alex serves as the Associate Pastor at Skyland Baptist Church. Alex gained his Bachelor's in Christian Ministry from Leavell College and his M.Div. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently a D.Min student at New Orleans. He has been on staff since 2015. Alex leads our family ministries, and he shares the responsibility of preaching and teaching.
